I had an opportunity to speak with one of the Gay Days performers that I think is going to be a great poolside treat for all of us. So grab your bathing suits and get ready. Introducing Angelos Styliano a current NYC club DJ breaking into the Florida entertainment scene. He has been featured at some of the greatest circuit parties as well as teasing the Miami crowd. Angelos will be performing at the Pool Party on Saturday, June 7. He is ready for this event , it is outside of the clubs and is a great experience for his listeners "to see me, and listen to me", Angelos says. From the picture you can see the eye candy your getting ready for. He is originally from Europe and like one of the other DJ's that we have interviewed he came here on vacation and hasn't returned.

I wanted to dig a little deeper into Angelos head; I wanted to find out what it was about his performances that sets him aside from the rest. He wants everyone to "feel the energy", something that he creates, his "idea" comes "from listening to the people", Angelos says. He says that he is still "learning to love his music" or do you ever stop? Influenced by such groups as "Soul to Soul", and the early (Europe) "Kylie Minogue". It was that Pop/Europe music culture that created his love for the music. It all started a few years ago when he gets his first gig, "It was my birthday and my first time performing". What a great rush that must have been; it was that "hobby (that lead to a) passion for music" that has not gone away.

When I was interviewing Angelos it was easy to see his love for music and making people feel what he is feeling. I remember talking with him and how he is able to let everything off his shoulders when he performs. We all have problems but no matter what, but his problems are nowhere to be found he gives himself at 110%, that is devotion. "Brining the darkness some light", as Angelos says, is maybe one of the things that motivated people to keep from feeling down and out and brining the party scene to an entire new level; won't that feel great during the time many of us call our annual June vacation. Make your plans for the pool party Saturday, June 7.
